Solana – SOL/USDT

We've spoken about Solana very recently, where price rejected from $123.28 (black horizontal, Range High) with scope for a drop into $99.06 (blue horizontal, Range Low) and that drop into the Range Low is currently underway.

SOL is going to consolidate inside this range until one of two things happens:

• Either price Weekly Closes above the Range High and retests it into new support, like we saw in 2024 (green circle), to confirm a breakout,
• or it Weekly Closes below the Range Low and bearish retests it into new resistance (which is something SOL also briefly performed in early 2024 as well).

Should that bearish retest take place, price would drop back into the Higher Low (purple trendline), which could become confluent with the low $80s.

That said, this Higher Low is quite dynamic, so the exact confluence depends on when that bearish retest happens.

The confirmations here are very simple because price is ranging.

Whether it's a continuation retest of the Range High or a bearish retest of the Range Low, either one would confirm Solana's next trend.

Until then, SOL is going to move sideways, with the Range Low now set to get tagged and try to hold as support.
